1st Attempt On Aglio Olio

^^ Osup!
After trying one of my friend’s homemade Olio, she inspired me to make my own too. This was my very first attempt. For a noob, I guess it is not too bad, just that tak berapa cukup rasa sahaja. :p To stingy on the salt. LOL. Here is the recipe that she shared with me:
Ingredient A:
1 pack Angel hair pasta (or you can susbtitute with spaghetti, fettucine or linguini based on your own preference)
Exra virgin olive oil
A bit of salt
Ingredient B:
A bit of salt
Garlics
Prawns
Scallops
Ingredient C:
Oregano
Parsley
Dried chili (or chili flakes)
Black pepper
Chicken stock
Here starts the cooking process:
Ingedient A:
Boil a pot of water and put in the portion of pasta as desired. Don’t forget to add a bit of salt and olive oil in it. To keep the pasta from all sticking together in one lump, you can put some olive oil in after it’s cooked.
Ingredient B:
Chuck in the chopped garlic (about 8 cloves). Fry the garlic first in a little bit of olive oil until cooked, then put all the remaining ingredients in.
Ingredient C:
Add in more olive oil and chuck in the pasta and fry together. Add about 1 tablespoon of Oregano (I use McCormick brand), black pepper and some crushed dried chilli flakes (as much as you like).
For better taste, add in 1/2 a cup of chicken stock (but if you’re lazy, just put half of those Knorr chicken cubes in a bit of hot water). Also add a bit of salt (sampai cukup rasa). Finally, when it is almost done, add in some parley (McCormick brand too).
Tadaa…..it is ready to serve.
